Nagisa Takizawa

Foreign Lawyer – Tokyo Bar

Member of the Tokyo Bar since 2014, Nagisa has practiced business law in several Japanese, French and Anglo-Saxon law firms, and set up her law firm in Tokyo in 2021. Through her experience in Tokyo, she has acquired a practical experience in both advisory and litigation before civil and consular Courts. In particular, she assists French and international companies established or about to be established in Japan.

She holds a Juris Doctor degree from Keio University Law School in Japan and has joined an LL.M in French and European law at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2022-2023 to broaden her expertise on the relations between France and Japan.

Passionate about communicating with students, Nagisa has taught Administrative Law at the Keio University Law School in Japan. Outside of her professional life, she regularly treks with her friends and has climbed Mount Fuji several times.

She is the vice-chairperson of the International Committee of the Tokyo Bar Association, a member of the Franco-Japanese Society of Legal Science and of the AAJ (Association des Avocats Japonophiles).
